Apr 20, 2021 yeah s-----y. Moderna definitely hits harder with side effects. Something like this obviously wouldn't have happened to a person who didn't have a history of epilepsy and even then would be rare. s-----y luck
Apr 20, 2021 @icecube I really hope you know how much I respect and love you, you're one of my favorite people I ever met online and I'll always support you. I simply don't agree with this COVID bs - I believe in this disease, I had it and it was really bad, my wife had it, a lot of people that I know had it, but I don't agree with this "vax yourself to be safe" agenda. They want you to vax yourself, but this vaccination don't even guarantee immunity. You still can get infected and die, so why vaccinate? I'm not an antivax dude, I will vax my kids if I ever had any, of course, but no covid vaccine. It's the first pandemics of all time we need to advertise a cure. Odd.
Apr 21, 2021 It's all new man, that's why. But I'm only agreeing with the vaccination stuff because there isn't any other way to get back to normal. Vaccine and mass testing will drive life back, it's proven to work. Just look at the UK, the US, Israel etc. I hated the whole Brexit s--- but because we weren't governed by EU sanctions on fair distribution of the vaccine we could buy as much as we wanted and we did. Obviously I'm not a scientist but isn't that how all vaccines work? I thought all vaccines just stop the affects of the disease, not stop you from getting it? If that's right (it might not be!) then this vaccine is doing exactly the same as all other vaccines in the world. It's just heightened because that's all people talk about and nobody really knew how vaccines work in general.
Apr 22, 2021 Though it doesn't guarantee immunity, it lessens the chances of contracting it. That in itself makes it worthwhile? I get the apprehension, as we're in the formative stages of seeing how this vaccine works and it's side effects, but give me an option between having it and not, I'm siding with the former coz for people like myself contracting the virus might be a death sentence. Definitely not the first pandemic of all time that pushed for a cure/vaccine. Throughout history there's been a push to vaccinate against deadly illnesses, no? It's just amplified in this day and age coz we're in the era of information coming live and direct to the masses with regularity.
Apr 23, 2021 becoming increasingly likely that these rare blood clots are linked to other medications such as birth control or estrogen therapy. No cases among men yet which may change but that’s still significant.
Apr 23, 2021 I have only had my first shot (Pfizer), but I know people who have had all 3. Not one person had a truly bad reaction, minus a sore arm and some tiredness. I understand people being skeptical, and I certainly don't know the long term effects, but I signed up as soon as I could
Apr 24, 2021 Had my first shot of the pfizer vaccine earlier this month. Sore arm for a couple of days and that's it.
Apr 24, 2021 i think maybe 1 or 2 out of 40+ people i know didn’t have a very bad reaction to the 2nd shot and the rest did
Apr 24, 2021 It seems to be that of you think you may have had Covid before then the first shot is bad as your body is fighting something it already knows. If you haven't had Covid before then the first shot is fine and the second shot is bad. Guess I'll find out in about 4 weeks.
Apr 24, 2021 I had my second shot yesterday Was fine after first and I’m fine today. Only issue is a sore arm.
Apr 24, 2021 It is mate. My mom had her second a week ago and she had same results as me except she had the Oxford one and I had Pfizer.
