When do you think these were recorded? Dame said “with 50 MORE songs”

as if they were recorded for his come back album and none got included to the album. DMX also had a 3 album deal with deff jam. And has been working on and off for the last few years.

Based off of the flow and voice it's not new maybe early to mid 2000s the drop in quality in X with even his voice is pretty noticeable and easy to pinpoint

There's no polite way to put this but the prospects of quality DMX material have increased since he died. Posthumous albums are a mixed bag but in this case they'll be plucking raps from an X in better shape, and his death may prompt more significant producers to collaborate.

If they can make a fun album with songs from Pop, Von, Juice,... this shouldn't be hard since X was in the game for a long time. If they release a lost tapes type of project with his old s---, it should be way better than this mess.

A crtitique that I have is the barking sounds, him saying "cmon" "what" in between lines seems a bit overplayed at this point. Especially when it's on most of his songs.

I know that it's his trademark but at this point it almost seems like it's added to compensate for the fact that he doesn't sound nearly as good as he used to.

Without a doubt. It what will actually happen is that we'll get 3 or 4 posthumous albums milked with a bunch of features.
