word, ya im just saying last decade pacino was solid. not since 70s (or even 90s) peak, but pretty good run for one of the all time greats. i think you have to include his hbo run as part of the conversation in fact.

Okay I will give you 3, thats it. And I have seen almost all of these. You Don't Know Jack, Paterno and The Irishman. The rest are called in performances. Cash grabs. Have not seen Salome, know its a dream project but a dream project made late in life so we shall see.

ahhhh he was great in OUATIH. Phil Spector works. i wouldnt call Humbling, Manglehorn cash grabs per se. 7/14 in my book lol -- again, not all these WORK, but interesting failures should count more than merely being called in. Just my take. When did Merchant of Venice come out?

I was not a huge fan of OUATIH. Not in my top five Tarantino films. But I get where you are going with this. Risk should at least deserve some credit. And he has been taking some, even in his older age. Humbling is a Philip Roth book adaptation, although a very inaccurate one. Manglehorn is pure indie. Stand Up Guys, MIsconduct and Hangman are the DTV cash grabs. But I would honestly argue he phoned his performance in, especially in OUATIH. Phil Spector while not fully successful, maybe it warrants a rematch. It does have a script by David Mamet, although it isn't Glengarry Glen Ross, or anywhere close to that.

And Merchant dates back to what early 2000's, 2004. Not too bad, Hopkins did well in Titus as well. They love their Shakespeare.

Bruh the songs with Alicia keys and snoop are straight fire. This album shocked me.
Oh yeah but did anyone know... That f---in kanye produced the last track... The prayer?! Bruh I could do a better job than that on my f---ing phone. He just blended all the prayers from all of dmxs albums in to one track and they're all mismatched on the volumes and sound like they were blended with a garbage disposal.
Remember how we all made fun of proof for dying like #lolproofisdead? We need to get kanye to k--- himself.

I can't... Nothing will ever beat Pulp Fiction.

    Pulp Fiction
    Reservoir Dogs
    Jackie Brown
    k--- Bill 1 & 2

From Dusk Till Dawn didn't age well. It used to be higher. Then everything else, really. I would take Hateful Eight & Inglorious Basterds over Django Unchained and OUATIH. It actually might be in last place for me. Even True Romance if judged as a Tarantino film, would be higher. Actually, way higher period. NBK is a bit of a mess. Way too hard to even judge, considering the Oliver Stone changes to it.

Nah go check out the complex interview. X said it was his final album and he was done. Pretty sure Swizz was the one to give X the extra push and motivation to do this album when he saw how motivated X was after Verzus.

"Swizz remembers DMX constantly referred to the album as his final body of work."

"I kept telling him, “Look at what Nas is doing. This is how people move these days. We can’t wait another three or four years to put music out. We got this momentum. Let’s keep it going.” So he was like, “We will work on that time when that time comes.” But he definitely said there’ll be no more albums after this. He said he
    was tired."

But you're right about the less work part. At first he wasn't fond of the idea of having a lot of features on his album but then he liked it because it was less work since he didn't have to write as many verses.
