    Honestly, DMX was the first rapper who genuinely shocked me as a kid. Not even Eminem. I heard him say "I got blood on my hands and there's no remorse/I got blood on my d-ck cuz I f----- a corpse" and I was like...you can say that in music??? Music can be this hard, this energetic?

    Usually there trolls and haters who will joke about someone's death but all i've see so far in the comments online is mad love and respect for the man. Not a single negative comment. It shouldn't even come as a surprise because how can you dislike X? The guy is the definition of a real one.

    You could list 20 different artists and i'm sure none of them is as authentic as DMX.

    Just re listened to year of the dog....again why does this album not get mentioned with the previous 5? This album is great just as good
    How do people feel about undisputed? Haven't listened to that in years and Apple only has the clean version

    I could see people being pissed about what he has said and done in his music? From an outside perspective, he doesn’t really seem like a good person I’m sure. Drugs, r---, violence, crime, you name it. I could see how some people wouldn’t see him as quite an upstanding citizen.
