    I could have bartended one of his shows in 2017... but he couldn't handle the long trip to Alaska and once he got here he canceled then he flew back to California or Washington and entered rehab.

    It s----d... I was looking forward to meeting him... he is legitimately in my top 5 rappers of all time.... but I knew it wouldn't be the same as meeting him at the turn of the millennium.

    Oh for sure, having a predisposition to addiction plays a big part, there’s no denying that. I just meant that I’ve found the best way to handle friends drug use is not to judge or tell them you disapprove because you want them to be honest and open with you. People doing drugs alone/in secret is often the worst case scenario because people can OD and there’s no one around to help. You want to be supportive because then when they’re ready to quit they will feel like the have someone in their corner they can count on to help and be there for them. Cuz a lot of times people want to quit but don’t know how to take the first step.

    Out of life support doesn't mean he's good. Depending how much time is brain was cut off of oxygen the damage sustained could incapacitated him from living a reasonable life.

    Not gonna pretend like I really listened to his music but it's always awful to hear about s--- like this happening to anyone. I hope he makes it through, he's a hip hop legend and addiction can be a f---ing b----.

    Never understood why people considered it weaker than the others tbh.

    This might be blasphemy for some but the one album I could never get into as much as the others was Flesh of my Flesh, Blood of my Blood.

    And Then There Was X.. is probably my #1 but honestly it could be It's Dark And h--- is Hot, The Great Depression or Grand Champ. They're all phenomenal hiphop albums imo.

    Also, Year Of The Dog... Again is a better than most people give it credit for.
