    Initially, yes. I've spun this about 10x now though and I really enjoy it now. Will def end up on rotation for a long while to come yet.

    But...it def feels like a compilation of "??? feat DMX" apart from one or two tracks. Skyscrapers a standout highlight and I still tear up when I hear Letter to my Son.

    Kind of mind blowing right? Every now and then I'll get bored at like 3 am and look up random celebrities from the early 2000s and see how they're doing and it's crazy to see them getting like 40 likes on Instagram their net worth is in the hundreds of thousands etc. one of my favorites right now is weirdly enough Aaron carter dudes an absolute delusional wreck I seen him on the no jumper podcast a year ago or so and been following his meltdown on and off since then but yeah in X's case it's sad. So much talent legendary album run but straight up some what of a laughing stock/after thought for the last few years before his passing he deserved a lot more but he's one of the rare cases where he's not a gimmick and lives what he talks about.

    I feel like the plan was "X can't sell on his own anymore and I want this to do good so let the selling point be the guest" which on paper seems like a good idea with that marsh mentality of "big artist = important Good album" but at least for me it pushed me away I don't want an X album for the guest I want to hear X even if it's sucks

    Also if this album was a mix of a lot of older material then why not put GOOD older material on this? IMO that time to get paid track is better than everything on this album even letter to my son(would've been better with a second verse)

    Swizz keeps hyping that song like it's the song of the year lol.

    The beat is repetitive and sounds unfinished. One of the weaker songs on the album imo.
