yeah i hear you on PF. i wanna say:

    1. PF
    2. Inglorious
    3. OATIH
    4. Jackie Brown

those are my four, but i could rearrange the order any day depending on the mood. was never a k--- bill fan, and id rank RD slightly below.

hateful eight and django are the two i truly dont think are very good. i just rewatched death proof and even that had a funky spirit to it.

Money Money Money is pretty good too. But yeah X's voice isn't what it used to be. Wish Pop Smoke was still on it but Moneybagg Yo did pretty well

"Although you're humble, although you don't really have features, let's have fun with it, come out the gate," he continues. "Then the next album, we can get back to how you want to do it, but let's have some fun. Let's give them something they can't expect. They're not expecting you and Bono. They're not expecting you and Alicia. They're not expecting you and Griselda. They're not expecting you, Jay, and Nas on one track. You know what I'm saying? They never expected an Usher with "Letter To My Son, Call Your Father," You know?"

"He just loved the idea of it, but he was a little sneaky about it because in his mind, he loved that he was able to work with them," continues Swizz. "On the other hand, he figured out it was less work for him. He really loved it. He was like, oh, I only got to do three verses? Okay, tell Lil' Wayne let's go. So that was the good, the good part, man."

"But the producer is also entertaining the idea of releasing additional posthumous music, including a gospel album, as long as it is properly curated and handled." So we might get the 2nd Disk to go with Walk With me Now. Interesting. I just said today they should release it if it was recorded.

The Irishman was great but it felt too long. They could have made it an hour shorter and it would have been just as good.

I would agree. At least 30 minutes. The CGI flashbacks didn't help things. Only parts I really disliked. The slower pace toward the end is needed, but it is slow

Well here's the full paragraph from my quote.

During the private album listening session, you mentioned that X kept saying this album would be his last. Did he elaborate on his desire to retire?

Yeah, very heavy. At the beginning, he kept saying it, but I feel like towards the end of the album, he was more open to getting back in and turning around another one quick. I kept telling him, “Look at what Nas is doing. This is how people move these days. We can’t wait another three or four years to put music out. We got this momentum. Let’s keep it going.” So he was like, “We will work on that time when that time comes.” But he definitely said there’ll be no more albums after this. He said he was tired.

Sounds more like Swizz trying to convince X than X really wanting to make more albums.

Exactly. And I don't disagree. 30 minutes at least to help with the pacing.

We are trying to use Swizz quotes against Swizz quotes lol Swizz has been trying to convince to X make music for the past 10 years. He is the only guy that kept pushing him this hard. He pushed him to even do this one. So who knows if he could have convinced him to do more.

We can't take what DMX said in that moment as the absolutely unchangable truth. Look at rappers and their retirements. I will stick with my own view of this. I doubt this was his going out Album.

My bad, i'm not even sure what we're talking about anymore. I thought you said X wanted to do more albums. So I was just saying Swizz is really the one behind all of it.

Oh no haaa Not a fan. De Niro was horrid in it. Not a Cooper fan period. One of those cash grab performances discussed above. But I also know that some people absolutely love this film. The plot isn't terrible. I just didn't like it.

All good haa I don't know what X wanted. It's all coming from Swizz right. And people change their mind all the time right. I just see all these so-called Last Albums and then the rapper comes back for more. Retirement does not have the same meaning these days.
