    Right before X passed away he put up a link to that guy's website in his IG bio to sell throwback and anniversary tour merchandise. It's all sold out now tho. He's an A&R who's been working with X in the last years of his life

    Oh f---, Letter to my Son is beautiful. I can relate to this so much.

    Everything. "I want to hug you but I want to bite you". I love my son with all my heart but sometimes I want to strangle him!

    "Taught you enough to not use drugs". Leading by example and not being afraid to have tough conversations with him is the best way I know how to raise him. I'd rather he hear about the world from me before witnessing it himself with nothing to relate it to.

    This song is heart wrenching.

    Just think of the family he left behind who love him as a father. We'll never know the pain they are in. We hurt as fans, but that doesn't compare to their pain.

    RIP X and I wish strength and resilience for your family.

    Ya not feeling the beat. Jay verse is ok i guess. But yeah .
    X solid here. My fear is Swizz held back on releasing all the new x here material he could so he could stagger it out for future projects. This is nice for what it is but concerned about the manipulation

    I like skyscraper it feels like a real, complete dmx song lol. Not dashed off or watered down

    Letter to my song is good too. Could’ve used another dmx verse.. sort of sputters out

    I was expecting something different tbh.
    It didn't sound like a complete album, it felt more like "the best they could do out of unreleased material".

    X only having the last verse on a lot of songs gave me the impression that this sounded more like a compilation album too.
    I guess I expected more newer material, since DMX actually worked on it by himself.

    There are some good cuts on here though.
    "Thats my Dog", "Take Control" and "Walking in the rain" do sound finished.
    Skyscrapers was good too, a second verse would've been great.

    ....Which brings us to another point though:
    I feel like DMX's verses were too short sometimes.

    I know what you mean but we've also got to remember that this was really the first body of work he'd worked on in about a decade after battling some of the biggest demons he's ever battled. And subsequently lost that battle as we know. I don't doubt that this is the best he could do. I'll take it for what it is, a good attempt from a once-upon-a-time icon that succumbed to the world of drugs. I'm happy to have it, that's for sure.

    I dunno man. It'll be nice and I'm sure there is material for a few postumous projects but I don't think anything will be out any time soon. I feel like this was a bit rushed just to get it out in the same year he died. I'm happy with a few years for everything to settle.

    That's My Dog - Old, but I like it
    Bath Salts - Could have been better, but I like it. Nas killed it
    Dogs Out - X was nice, but I don't enjoy Wayne's flow here
    Money Money - Yeah, I like this, love that "I get half" line"
    Hold Me Down - Another track I like, Alicia sounds great
    Skyscrapers - Not feeling this honestly, I don't like the hook
    Hood Blues - Nah
    Take Control - Not for me
    Walking In The Rain - Not really into it
    Letter To My Son - Wish this had two or three verses. It would be better.

    This isn't a classic at all. The energy and passion he had isn't really here except for some moments. Turning this into a 5 track EP.

    I enjoy this given the circumstances X has been living through when recording this. He doesn't have that energy that he had on his classic albums and wasn't really as present on here as much as I wished him to be, but it's still a bittersweet final album from an extraordinary rapper

    Not finished yet but this is way better than I was expecting so far. Except for the jay z song sounds like it was recorded with a cardboard toilet paper roll. Nas was the highlight on that song for me
