    This album couldn't have been any better for a 50 year old DMX.

    People be expecting X to sound like he did 20 years ago. If you come in with reasonable expectations this is a phenomenal farewell.

    Nope, no solo tracks. But a couple might have features only for the chorus.

    Like the Bono and Alicia Keys tracks. I can't imagine them having a verse. So it's probably just for the chorus.

    In all honesty I wouldn't be too surprised that the album isn't that good I feel like X could still bring it on a couple of songs but not for a whole album what does surprise me is that the mixing might s--- you'd at least think they'd put some 10/10 effort into this mixing wise and make him sound great

    And you shouldn’t be his number one fan because he died. But you and anyone else should definitely take the time and go listen to his discography. Because it’s worth a listen. You don’t have to love it or even like it. But it’s worth giving it a try.

    I just found out after reading some comments that Bath Salts is an unreleased track from a few years ago.





    So maybe that's why X never mentionned the Jay and Nas features? Swizz decided to add it to the album?

    I mean, all those features are really sick. The Lox, Jay Z, Nas etc.. But not a single song without a feature? Cmon, man.

    Hopefully this is what X wanted.

    I really hope Swizz didn't f--- this up.

    Apparently the Pop Smoke record didn't make the cut but X confirmed this record would be on the album...




    Seems like a lot of features for a 10 song album. I sincerely hope this turns out good.

    Hasn't Swizz executively produced or at least played a significant role in most of DMX's album since the beginning though?

    You look at It's Dark and h--- is Hot, he has some production there.

    Flesh of My Flesh he basically produced that entire album.

    And Then There Was X, he's got like 4 or 5 tracks on there. A few tracks on Grand Champ and The Great Depression too.
