Jan 14, 2016 I don't know, but all I know is that kendrick ain't afraid to share the spotlight on some of his best songs.
Jan 14, 2016 I think Gunplay's verse stands out more and is more memorable than most of Kendrick's verses throughout the song. However, I wouldn't say he "bodied" Kendrick, I just think Gunplay's voice, flow and delivery was more suited to the song and beat.

Jan 15, 2016 Not to worry, every warrior will come and see euphoria And that's a covenant I put on every tribe Ain't nobody gon' tie your shoe Nobody gon' abide by your rule Nobody holding your gun, how come your tongue say killa then k--- my mood
Jan 15, 2016 Gunplays verse was great I mean his flow, voice and delivery were all on point but it was pretty basic other then that and the production helped him so much more too. The beat change for his verse, the lack of Kendricks background vocals, the a cappella bars and how the backing vocals kicked back in after that definitely made it stand out and gave it substance. I think in comparison at time Kendricks verses could seem a little busy but other then that he was on point in every way and I think both his verses were better the Gunplays in the end. Classic song though, I might sneak it back in the rotation.
