    What are you talking about? I'm not a big fan of Hopsin but while you're in the forums talking s--- about him like a big loser his last video got 1m views in one week

    I'm guessing that's due to his fanbase, not due to any media attention. I haven't read DJBooth/HHDX/any hip-hop site mention Hospin and even when they do, it's usually in relation to him doing something to make sites mention him. No Bars was essentially a clickbait video and him leaving Funk Volume was essentially a stunt to get people aware of Hospin.

    Dude does more stunts and gimmicks than any rapper I've ever seen.

    I blame the fact that he falsely portrayed himself as a "reality rapper" and mocked the very thing he is... a talentless rapper with little to no appealing value to him.

    I would see how someone could be a potential Hopsin fan... Him being signed to Ruthless Records at one time, all the crazy stunts he pulled, the horrorcore aspects (appeals to Eminem fans very highly) and the connections to Tech N9ne (who love it or not is the most powerful people in independent hip-hop). There's just a lot of aspects and avenues as to Hopsin fandom. But I don't think Hopsin was destined to truly be great in any form mainly because he doesn't have the willpower or awareness to get over his one crippling aspect.

    The need for attention.
