    When a goverment decides to digitize national currency, involving a blockchain in this process, which is highly unlikely to happen since banks wouldn't be needed anymore; this is the idea behind the cryptocurrencies: decentralized financial system. There are centralized or half-centralized "cryptos" out there, of course, but their existence goes against the whole idea. A goverment can take them or do their own, but it will be just an illusion. So, real crypto like btc, dgb, ltc will never become a standard currency in any country.

    El Salvador just officially passed the bill to make Bitcoin a legal currency. This is huge tbh.

    might as well post in this thread since I invested in ETH2.0.

    seeing as how Ethereum is being price jacked all the way to the moon, I'm going to make some bank on the investment that's ever growing in 2022 because you can't get the money out until Ethereum 2.0 fully launches.
