    I've never seen it myself either. I used to get a different error message on Chrome if I wasn't able to access a site

    it's either a virus or your network is blocking you from accessing certain domains. Check your computer first for a virus if not come back

    so it is malware, probably. odd, usually this kind of thing is accompanied by pestering "urgent" messages to buy their fake antivirus, but what's the point of just blocking websites? unless it's a prank or something from someone you know

    Ok.. I think I've completed the scan & restarted my computer but unfortunately it hasn't been resolved ..

    Did you make sure you had all of them deleted? Redo the scan and scan with your anti virus as well
    And did you do a quick scan or full scan?

    I'm serious they always help me and it isn't expensive and your computer feels so brand new.

    I believe I did a full scan.. I had a pop up at the bottom of my screen that told me I need to restart my computer in order to complete it

    Try to redo the scan, if not, you might have to remove them manually, and that's a difficult thing to explain through a forum, plus i've never had to do it.
    This is a good idea, he will be @able to do it

    I had something similar before and could only access YouTube. Turns out I had a virus/malware that was blocking me from any website until I follow the link and 'buy an anti-virus'.

    Took it up my local computer shop and they got rid of it.
