When it comes to giving gifts for Christmas what do you guys (and girls) usually do? I always try to find a gift for someone but sometimes it's too tough. Whether it's due to work and coaching that causes time to be a constraint (my own time management issues obviously) or the person just doesn't know what they went. I've always been the type where if I want something I'll buy it for myself so even buying gifts for me can be tough.

Anyways, do you feel guilty buying gift cards? Or feel sometimes that's the best option to do?

This year I basically went the gift car route except for a few select gifts here and there.

I went the gift card route this year cause I wasn't left with many options. I've bought her jewelry before. Bought her clothes before. Booked her appointments at a beauty salon etc etc. Took her out for dinners. But she's at the end of her pregnancy so booking appointments or buying her clothes etc were out of the question at this point. So I bought her new knives she was asking for and a gift card so she can treat herself once this baby is out. I really don't like it cause I'd rather give something unexpected and something thoughtful but eh.. not this year, I guess
