Apr 20, 2026 at 10:52 AM Hey, so like I'm new here and have no f---ing clue what I'm doing, I'm the kind of stan who pretty much knows every single thing about Em, and I used to transcribe some of his really old Soul Intent s---, and now I've gone down the rabbit hole of Chaos Kid. There's virtually nothing about him anywhere, excluding some sorry-a--- obituaries or short articles consisting of a whole lot of nothing. A lot of people know about the letters to Em and about their beef in 2004 because of the 'misunderstanding' tied to the interview with The Source, but what about before all of that? Even before they got into the 'beef,' Em never once mentioned his name. Early on, he shouts out almost everyone who helped him when he was just starting out, but never gives an acknowledgment to Chaos Kid. To me, that suggests something happened before he blew up, before the distance that naturally comes with fame. It feels like whatever made them grow apart started long before the public fallout. Chaos Kid was known to have struggled with mental illness, and when you look at the pact they supposedly made when they were around 15–17, it seems like he genuinely expected Em to honor it, even though they weren’t close by then. We never really got Em’s side of the story, but I get the sense it goes way deeper than just what happened with The Source. For context, I'm a sixteen-year-old girl, so if I said something stupid as f---, please cut me some slack. I just think their story is really intriguing, and the lack of solid information about Chaos Kid and his life makes me even more interested. I’d love to hear anything more concrete people might know or any sources I might’ve missed.
