Anyone watch that Pacquiao v Horn fight? What a joke lmfao. This is why boxing is dying.

I thought Horn did enough to win. Regardless, Pac looked horrible against a nobody. Great story for the Aussie. Came to fight, used his size, gritted his teeth, and made it a sloppy brawl. Great fight.

Pac said he caught a cold when he got into the country lol. Dude needs to hang it up before a legit welt like Spence or Crawford or Thurman gets a hold of him. Won't be pretty.

Also, this fight is trending on Twitter and even more people will watch the rematch. Hard to say it hurt boxing.

In no way shape or form did Horn win. He showed heart and guts but he was throwing wild punches the entire fight and missing a vast majority of them. Pacquiao didn't look good but he was clearly tagging him off counters and out boxing him. Not to mention the onslaught in the 9th round where Horn wasn't even blocking punches anymore, he was just eating them. Ref literally told him in the ring that if he didn't start doing something, he was going to stop the fight. Punching stats only further prove this:

Those punch stats are trash m8. Almost stopping somebody doesn't even guarantee you a 10-8 round. It was a very close fight. On rewatch there are not enough decisive rounds to call this a robbery. Manny fell asleep for 6, 7, and 8. He didn't really do much after the 9th either. Most rounds were fought in the trenches and not much really separated either man.

Round 9 was the only one where Pac really put together his punches and was pressing his foot on the gas. Even then, nobody is obligated to score it 10-8 unless he scored a knockdown. He didn't. He busted Horn's face up very easily though. Could easily have seen a stoppage if Manny came out in the 10th and put together a good flurry or two. He didn't.

How are the punch stats trash? Lol look Manny obviously didn't put together a top notch performance but that doesn't mean he deserved to lose. Horn won 3-4 rounds, 5 if you really really want to push it.

Because punch stats are guys clicking buttons deciding which punches count and they're totally isolated from the substance of the fight. You could easily give Horn 1, 4, 6, 7, 8, 10, and 12. That's 7 rounds. There are a million ways to score this fight for either guy. It was fought in the trenches. No real definitive space between the two. People are acting like this wasn't a close fight lol. Definitely not a robbery. Pac should have came out in the 10th and ended it with a flurry or two. He doesn't have it anymore.

Teddy Atlas and Stephen A Smith should honestly be ashamed.

Charlie the only man in the world that thinks Horn legitimately won this fight lol. This s--- wasn't even close, I don't know what you were watching. You don't win fights for being on the offensive for 12 rounds and throwing wild punches. If that's the case, Maidana beat Mayweather in their first fight too lol.

Not true. CBS Sport had the fight a draw. I know some writers for a boxing publication who also agree with me. The Pac fanboys and casuals are just more vocal. I don't really care either way. Was a good fight. Looking forward to a rematch. Boxing on cable is great. Looking forward to Loma and Crawford-Indongo as well.

Paulie is a known Pac hater. Don't know why he's got it in for him but Paulie just hates the guy.

This robbery reminds me of Pac/Bradley 1 and Gonzalez/Rungvisai

Horn won 4 rounds tops with his aggressive style. People who think Horn won also think Maidana beat Mayweather with the bully boy tactics. Pac deffo looked his age tonight but did out box Horn during the fight. Horn was hitting mainly gloves. The ref had a bad night because clinching and elbows is illegal in the ring, lets not forget the head butts.

People did the same thing with Jacobs and GGG. Saying Jacobs won, GGG clearly won that fight too.

Twitter had a end of fight photo and Horn was tagged like he got jumped by 3 guys.

It's a sign of the times for Manny. Round 9 where Horn was dead an old Manny would stop him but he looked his age tonight. He deffo would not be able to compete with Thurman or Spence so maybe it's a good thing that he lost. Like roach said, being a senator and boxer has taken an effect on Manny and he should consider retiring now.

My mate reckons that Arum wants Pac out of the picture so Crawford becomes the face of Top rank for this new generation and I have to agree with him.

@Charlie Work is right man, that fight was pretty close, it could have gone either way. I remember scoring it 114-113 for Pacquiao, but a close fight like this aint no robbery

I didn't have Horn winning anything passed the 6th round. He won some of the earlier rounds but that was pretty much negated by Pac's 9th round which was pretty easily a 10-8 round. Horn was really aggressive & throwing a lot of punches but not really landing anything. He hit manny's gloves a lot.
