Yeah I remember that was f----- up, for city at least. f--- tottenham lol

    Man. Imagine this

    Tottenham - ajax 0-1 after 90 mins
    Ajax - tottenham 2-0 after 45 mins
    Ajax - tottenham 2-2 after 90+5 minutes
    ..
3 seconds later 2-3 and byebye CL final (last time we won was 1995)

Luckily we were crowned champions 3 days later and won the dutch cup also so in the end it was an amazing season. But 2 seconds made the difference between an amazing and an unforgettable season :emoji_slight_frown:

    - Phillies 2009, 2010, and 2011
    - Villanova basketball second round loss 2015
    - Eagles super bowl loss 04-05 (11 year old me wished teddy bruschi would die after he had an INT and like two weeks after the game he had a stroke, and I felt bad lmao)
    - smarty jones the f---ing horse from philly losing in the final race of the triple crown. I literally had a melt down, crying and s--- because I truly believed philly sports were cursed lol. Eagles had just lost a third straight NFC championship game, Sixers lost three years earlier, the Phillies were just awful and never made the playoffs, and the flyers had just lost to the Lightening in the ECF.
    - Eagles losing to the Saints in 2013 and 2018.
    - Notre Dame losing to Alabama

I had this in my original post but ended up removing it because the others were more painful for me to witness. But this 2010 loss hurts badly because the celts were up 3-2 in the series and then Perkins blew out his knee early in game 6. And even without him they still could have won game 7 smh.

We have so many great moments as a city fan.

Id say all of the officiating in the champions league vs tottenham and liverpool tho.

Thats for soccer, american football probably the fail mary or every playoff game we lose (packers)

I went to my first AFL Grand Final in 2018 (Australia's Superbowl) to watch my Australian football team I literally have tattooed on me and we led most of the game and then lost in the last minute or so. Goal was kicked right in front of me. I think about it every day.

Honestly, one of the few series I truly felt the refs were definitely interfering in. Games 3,5, and 7 were all going our way until the refs started getting involved.

Yes this is so true. I really try hard not to blame refs but anyone can go back and look at the tape and see this was the case.
