    Lol at thinking those albums aren't top 10 in the past year. I'm sure your top 10 is way better, I'm sure it would read off just like the pitchfork top 10 from 2014.

    j cole is the definitive mediocre rapper. (pitchfork gave kendrick's album a rave; my ballot for their year-end list wasn't well represented on the actual list)

    there's nothing "edgy" about not liking j. cole. he's a very good producer. he's just not a good writer or rapper.

    j cole is very easy to grasp on the first listen, but thats besides the point. j cole's writing is very on the surface.

    Even I would say his production carries him......except the fact that his production is amazing and he produces like all of his songs, and he flows well with the beats cause of it.
