    man of steel wasn't amazing, but definitely wasn't a bad film either. i enjoyed it. can't get overly analytical with comic book-type films... i love the trailer though, batfleck will be best batman

    edit: he looks so angry in the trailer, can't w8 to see the route they go with the bat

    I had zero anticipation for this movie..with that being said it looks like it's going to be pretty dark and intense..looking forward to it

    I was like that when I started reading, I had no idea where to start and was overwhelmed with the amount of writers and continuities and 75 f---ing years of stories. I think it's pretty obvious to start out with the culturally significant arcs and sort of branch out from there, but once you get into it you'll realize that chronological order doesn't really matter. Most story arcs are self-contained, with little interaction shared between others. This is the recommended reading list from Reddit which sorted in a rough chronological order. Now, you might not enjoy some of these, but they're generally considered to be essential reading. Again, overwhelming, but you don't need to read them chronologically. Just get some brief knowledge of the characters featured in your arc and you should be good to go.

    Ugh. Batman films shouldn't be allowed to made after Nolan's trilogy. I was expecting this to be awful and it looks like it will be.
