if we're talking about falling off, why should we consider LASERS then? it was number 1 on billboard, sold over 200,000 first week and it had some really radio friendly songs.

LASERS is definitely no F&L or The Cool, but I don't think it's enough to consider him falling off either.

He had a career spanning decades and never fell off why would he not be an option

i mean if you ignore the HUGE drop in quality from the cool which he never regained (though t&y was kinda a step in the right direction) then yeah, lupe is a valid option.

So these fall offs being discussed in here are based off quality and not quantity, right?

I just think it's hard to gauge a fall off when the cool and lasers were conceptually different and we expected an album like the cool or F&L. LASERS wasn't something we wanted to hear from Lupe, but it doesn't make it a bad project quality or quantity wise.
