    idgaf what people say about Naruto, that show remains GOATed for moments like this. The minimal music, no conversation or thoughts during fight, absolutely captions the emotion of whats going on.

    Exactly, the final Naruto vs Sasuke fight was beautiful too. I admit there is a lot of nostalgia playing into my love for Naruto, but it is still a great show with some amazing moments. Plus now that the whole series is out, you can skip the filler, so that's not an argument against it no more lol.

    Don't worry I had only watched 10 of the episodes before switching to the manga. Will have to have a watch one day though coz I do love the charm of the animation and that OP is gloriousss

    Can't go wrong with FMAB, it's not one of the highest rated shounen's for nothing. After that I'd really suggest you to jump on the Attack On Titan hype train though.

    Shounen is a term referring to demographic. Shounen is a series targeted at teenage and adolescent males, the female equivalent is shoujo. Anime targeted at adults are seinen and josei for males and females respectively. Most people use shounen as shorthand to refer to the whole battle anime genre, since that encompasses like 99% of the anime in the demographic

    Main character has ambition or goal, gets stronger, finds friends, epic fight, seems to lose, power of friendship, wins fight with ex machina power up, repeat...

    Nah forreal it's not all that bad, otherwise it wouldn't be so popular. But I get why some people are sick of it lol

    Ahhhh word, makes sense cuz FMA is def super goofy like I remember from watching pokemon/yugioh/etc as a kid.

    what constitutes battle anime exactly? Stuff that’s based around fighting in p much every episode? I assume s--- like DBZ and FMA
