    Do you think the other 3 would've been arrested under Obama? I'm not so sure..but obviously Obama would've handled this (and everything) much better than Trump is..

    i deleted my posts soon as i posted em... i came in hot. i duno the backstory. the video showed 10-15 people beating a guy on the ground until he wasn't moving. i don't know if it was the sword guy i heard about or not. i really don't care anymore.

    On a lighter note, I overheard an older dude at the protest talking to these younger dudes saying "f--- 12." He was like "excuse me, so what is 12 exactly? I've been wondering what that means." They told him it meant the police and he was like "ohhhhh....well f--- 12!"

    Well unfortunately this disturbance has officially formed into a tropical storm. It is named Cristobal. It’s causing deadly flooding in Central America. It is expected to make landfall In North America this weekend the earliest, most likely early next week. Still way too early to predict where it will make landfall or how strong it’ll become as it moves across the gulf.

    I'm saying millions of people are facing life or death because there are millions of black people in the USA who could potentially be murdered by police. I thought that was pretty clear that that's why it's urgent and that I didn't need to extrapolate that far.

    So, would you tell a black person that this isn’t worth rebelling and destroying property for because it isn’t genocide and millions aren’t dying every day?

    buddy, u said millions were facing life or death. why cant i hold your own rhetoric accountable lol. doesnt mean i dont see this as 'urgent' just questioning why it needs to spiral out when the actual atrocities are damning enough.

    eh in effect tho. and again, as ive said, the choice doesnt have to be alternative (drafted by me. on an eminem forum, reiterating points ive made for a week...) or de facto endorsement of burning playgrounds lol. ive already mentioned alts either way as has slyk, via the obama medium post or otherwise. i just think claiming this is the only viable path forward is disengenous . im not even against protesting ffs.

    im confused. millions are not dying from police brutality. parse out racial inequality or what have you but its not like this moment is about genocide? or am i misreading u...

    heres a better question for u - what percentage of this is performative? not talking about BLM activists, but the self appointed white folks crying crocodile tears on fb? if u guys are indeed being introspective about the movements shortcomings, i havent seen it.

    agreed with all this. i was going to cite obama's medium post as well lol.

    and genuinely, its v interesting posters here can look at rly unfortunate s--- going down and instead of simply being like 'that should not have happened' or be slightly introspective about what moments like this truly mean and do, its suddenly 'well you need to break down a comprehensive plan to me that gives me a rationale for not supporting reckless violence.' like how about you think and play things straight. this is why liberals/the left get accused of being moralizing fascists by critics.

    based off history, no it wasn't. His arrest even now is a joke, third degree which means it was on accident, plus the other 3 still aren't arrested and likely won't be.

    Of course, if only the other party would allow for black leaders to have a seat at the table and work towards changes instead of just placating them and giving lip-service, but then time and time agian not doing anything about the broken system.

    Until then riots will rage on for those unheard.
