Feb 22, 2016 Probably gonna get hate for this. I don't necessarily dislike it but in comparison to how other people rate it I'm nowhere near that. It really doesn't do much for me. I've heard both versions too. I probably do prefer the OG version but still I think it's just okay. Any one else feel similar?
Feb 22, 2016 I don't really dislike it either, but I wasn't wowed by it like everyone else was back when we first heard it, and I'm not wowed by it now that I have both versions in CDQ.
Feb 22, 2016 I just don't find it as godly as 90% of the forum seems to. I even played it to a friend who's a bigger Kanye fan than me and his reaction was "yeah it's not amazing".
Feb 22, 2016 how i felt about tlop as a whole I like wolves because it's kinda emotional and calming.
Feb 22, 2016 I finally checked out the OG cause I like Sia. Still meh on it. Comparing both you can hear that this song was pieced together with no real direction or cohesion. The backing melodies are haunting and beautiful but there's nothing else there I enjoy. Kanye's voice grates particularly. Kinda want to hear someone else on this beat. Maybe someone more sombre like Joe Budden (who could really do with better production anyway).
Feb 22, 2016 I'm wondering, are the people that overrate wolves the same as the ones who say real friends is the best track on the album?
Feb 22, 2016 I was never in love with it, but I think if we heard a Vic/Sia/Kanye+verse version for the first time on the album, we would've put the song on Runaway levels of quality. The newness wore off. We heard a s-----y quality version of an unfinished song and played it to death.
