    Do I agree that Dre had better songs in the vault than what he released? Yeah
    Problem is I bet a lot of it sounded out dated as f--- so there's that so it wouldn't of worked

    I'm confused, did Dre not create a successful career for most of those rappers. As for Jay-Z, it took him 2 days to make The Blueprint, i'm sure he didn't ruin his life.

    The problem is those songs wouldn't belong in this era, would they have been dope yes. What Dre should do is release detox as a mixtape with all the songs that were recorded for it. Compton is dope but fans were waiting for his third album for a very long time.

    Detox wasn't a serious thing until 2004, only 50 Cent was in his prime at the time. Encore era Eminem on Detox <<<<<<<<<

    Still looking for the origin of this because the Jay-Z verse was mixed in from another song, Game probably did that intentionally when he threw it on a mixtape

    If I was to be pissed at Dre, it would be for all of the careers he stalled and/or wasted whilst trying to record Detox. For Compton though, he put out a great album, and I don't see how anyone can complain about the guest list when it includes Kendrick, Ice Cube, Xzibit, Snoop and f---ing Easy E. What more could you want from this project in terms of features without sounding spoilt?
