Tens of thousands more died because of the Trump administration’s lack of organization & leadership early on during the pandemic. From failing to properly prepare the U.S. for what was to come to iterating inaccurate information to the general public during a time of national crisis.

I mean there’s a reason why COVID infections, death rates, etc. were higher in strong Republican areas for years. Trump (& later other Republican elites) downplayed the virus, questioned masking (which pre-omicron was effective), questioned vaccine effectiveness which was the one thing the Trump admin actually could take credit in, etc.

Nobody is suggesting that any president could have thwarted every COVID death. A president that was competent absolutely would have done a better job at preparing the country, working with state & local govs, providing the public with accurate information, etc. & less people would have died as a result.

it’s also incredibly dumb to suggest that @DKC trolling on a hip-hop forum is somehow equivalent to the president of the U.S. spewing dangerous misinformation to the American public during a national emergency. Beyond f---ing dumb.

Tbh, I wonder if his pandemic response was really that bad considering the goal wasn't saving lives but keeping his base happy, who would prefer to kick the bucket over acting like an adult. If he didn't turn it political, they might've just went along but on the other hand, anti-vax s--- is older than MAGA and there is likely a huge correlation, and they could've turn on him too. Seeing that none of them care now, it wasn't that bad.

In 2009 I had a HTC Diamond Touch (windows mobile) then a Motorola Droid (android).

I've had smart phones since 2005 (palm treo first, then various windows phones).

Did you nonce not know nearly every had places and people that didn't do that s---?? Even when I was forced to wear a mask "legally" I didn't. I never got the vaccine and I've had covid 4 times. One of @pluto✰ 's many crazy, crazy, crazy QANON diatribes (masks k--- you because there are worms in them, everyone is who took the vaccine are going to become Marburg virus zombies on a specific day), was that there was no virus and covid19 was a psyop to make unemployment 50%...

I told him that was really stupid because Americans were at an all time high of.production to compensation.... and the powers that be loved that and were trying to avoid that change and they just wanted the virus to go away.

Now covid19 went from pandemic to endemic and unemployment is at 60 year low.


I wonder if he will admit that the government wasn't trying to make 50% unemployment.... and that there weren't worms in masks... and that the majority of the human population didn't all get the Marburg virus at the same hour.
