Crazy how violent they were to cops.

Would have been a bigger story on Newsmax and OANN if someone spray painted "BLM" on the Capitol Building in the dead of night.

Prove they served a minor... pull their liquor license and fine them.

This looks like a violation of his bail.

4 months later in Trump's America... Cops let White Nationalists into the US Capitol... they chanted "Hang Mike Pence! Hang Mike Pence!" While they hunted the VP.

Trump was happy about it and refused to send the National Guard to save Pence... then they didn't talk to each other for a week.

Just reported Rudy Giuliani for doxing.

I wonder why Trump refuses to pay him.

    From November:

He is probably a Proud Boy double agent... his brother James is a Proud Boy.... you can call James @ (385) 415-9438 and ask him about it.

No fascist regime has ever given up power peacefully.. President Biden might have to order the capture of Trump on 1-20-21.

this sort-of bait and switch from $2,000 checks to $1,400 is exactly the kind of mealy mouthed nonsense that got democrats their reputation

I'm honestly kind of mad at myself for not expecting this lol. It's flat-out devious but all the lib groupies are still defending it, thanking Kamala on twitter for saying $2000 "total" to clarify for all the apparently stupid people for thinking we were going to get a $2000 check on top of the $600 one.

    Looks pretty clear to me!

the liberal reflexiveness to defend biden/dem leadership is so cucked and confusing. remember “win first, then push him left”? man is coming in with control of the house and senate—latter is narrow, sure, but the republicans are on their back foot so much that mcconnell leaked he was considering conviction—and still don’t know how to do anything but mumble a defense of half-baked relief. loser behavior

you want to know why progressives never run things? like, ever? talk about reflective loser rhetoric.

dude youre eating your own words here, ik you realize that. this senate dynamic.... is not inconsequential. this 'wave a magic wand' style politics might work when you're 'organizing' (or a selfish in for himself backbencher like bernie was... edit: the incoming budget chair supports this btw) but not when the difference between something or nothing is going through manchin and murkowski. i always assumed he was talking about $1400 tbh in part bc politically it reaps/sows earlier right leaning/trumpist calls for $2k. just smart politics, considering biden has been adamant more support will need to happen anyway.

this isnt even a defense of dem leadership -- schumer can get primaried by aoc, idc. but the notion $1.9 trillion, creating a new workforce and federalizing the covid vaccination response isnt radical enough or whatever is so , so typical/sad. progressives refuse to grapple with anything reality-based. would rather stay losing and be right, arms crossed tweeting their holier than thou bs

    LMAOOOOOOOOOO

you’re so frothing-at-the-mouth eager to tell me how stupid “progressives” are for wanting what is bare-minimum s--- in other countries that you can’t see i’m talking about the politics of this. a measly $2,000 payment—which, let’s not kid ourselves, is what biden and his camp have talked about, what warnock and ossoff were running on—comes off as a promise immediately fulfilled, decisive and “generous” (lol), etc.

instead we’re getting typical democratic bs so that voters feel like they’ve been duped, and people like you are eager to carry water for them. if you think a huge swath of democratic voters, in georgia and national, will not immediately feel like they’ve been given a bit of a runaround, i don’t know what to tell you—you need to get out of your elite, east coast bubble.

Biden only ever said 2000 when the last negotiations were going on. Every indication since the 600 passed was that it would be an additional 1400. Now I do think optics wise some Republican voters will get up in arms about it but I also think those voters would get up in arms about anything Biden does and are inconsequential

I'm with @Captain Awesome AKA Papa - back in December, when Trump called for $2,000 checks, so did Biden. We then got $600 checks. I don't think it's mealy-mouthed or weak at all to assume that Biden would then push for the rest of the $2,000 that we didn't get? In fact it feels like the most logical conclusion...?

btw I say this as someone who would fully embrace $2,000 checks rather than $1,400. And I mean, let's be real - if anyone is drawing a line in the sand somewhere between $1,400 and $2,000 it's probably a different Joe (Manchin)....you paid lip service to the thin Senate majority, @WPG, but that isn't some minor wrinkle...it's the difference between a bill signed into law and a cute idea

But I think Andy's point about the left getting caught up in relatively minor details isn't untrue. This is a bill that will double the minimum wage, provide the money to states that Rs have been blocking, expand leave, boost unemployment benefits, give a whole bunch of money to schools, expand testing and vaccination in a major way. That isn't to say the bill couldn't be improved and should be immune to criticism! But the sharpness of the backlash.....does not feel proportional. This seems like an early, obvious example of how nothing will ever be enough for certain corners of the party
