    @pluto✰ is a case in point how Trump mishandled the Covid Pandemic.

    @pluto✰ was making threads about how he thought there were worms in face masks and how everyone who got the Vax was going to become Marburg virus zombies.

    Why was he so insane?

    Because of Trump's bad leadership.

    Everyone in the world memory holes the 2012 Ebola virus in Africa.

    It wasn't a big deal in America, unless you watched Fox News and right wing talk radio.

    Commentators on those platforms were saying that President Obama was mishandling the Pandemic and it was going to lead to millions of Americans dying.

    Some Republican Commentators even said that Obama was doing it on purpose because he wanted America to be more like Africa.

    They printed bumper stickers and t-shirts that said "Obola" and Fox News ran a segment about Ebola every night for 11 months. They thought that they could scare Americans into voting for Romney because of the African disease that was going to k--- us all.

    At the end of the 2012 Ebola crisis... one American died from it. A doctor in Texas that caught it treating volunteers.


    When covid19 hit, the Right Wing media outlets convinced themselves that the real news was pulling an election year stunt like they did with Ebola 8 years earlier.

    That's why Trump first f----- up and said it was "Democratic Hoax" and it was going to go away by Easter of 2020.

    That was a signal to all of his supporters to not to take it seriously and fight against mitigation.


    Then Trump got self conscious about his pancake make up he wears and didn't want to have an incident wear it would smear on his mask... so, he told the world he wouldn't wear a mask... that signaled to his supporters not to wear a mask and attack anyone who does.

    Then it was confirmed that Covid was mostly effecting Urban Democratic areas... so, Republicans lost concern over it. 1,000 dead a day in New York City was probably a plus in their eyes.

    A good President wouldn't let that happen.. even a bad President wouldn't let that happen. Romney wouldn't let that happen.


    Now we are in a situation where preventable child hood diseases are making a comeback because people refuse to vaccinate their children and people have convinced themselves they are fighting against big pharma by taking ivermectin and hrydroxychorlacline for no reason.


    Now here we are.

    Yesterday was likely a moment that'll change America forever, also might be the final nail in the coffin for democracy and what this country is supposed to be about..

    Trump was talking about getting revenge in his next term constantly BEFORE this, now it'll be even worse..We're screwed.

    I was gonna reset it like a month before the election but this works too

    Edited so poll closes on nov 6 + made it so people can change their vote cuz there's so much time left. Not that I think it'll make much of a diff in the longrun lol
