I'm convinced the majority of people who identify themselves as "Conservatives" and vote Republican is because they think that makes them tough, cool and interesting like Ron Swanson, Archie Bunker and Dirty Harry.

To be fair I don't think I called them corrupt. I think the whole thing was orchestrated by Obama and Jim Clyburn and although it was extremely machavellian(nothing wrong with that btw) there was nothing "corrupt" about it.

I’m so confused as to why people view what the DNC as corrupt. That’s what political parties do. They coalesce behind who they believe is best fit. Buttigieg, Kobuchar etc. didn’t have a pathway to the nomination so they dropped out & endorsed the candidate they liked most. Maybe they would have endorsed Sanders if...you know...he was actually a democrat or worked within the framework of the Democratic Party more often. This is what makes AOC so remarkable because she understands this. She doesn’t s--- on Democratic leadership 24/7. She acknowledges that she won’t get everything she wants but she can still slowly pull the party to the left.

regardless of all that though, it was no secret that Sanders, historically, has struggled in polls with minority voters. It should shock no one that he lost the states with more racially diverse populations.

He was a die hard Hillary supporter at the beginning of 2008 and wanted her to be President... after she lost her the nomination he campaigned for McCain... even though he spent years criticizing and calling for the Impeachment of Bush43 for the Iraq War... he decided to support McCain who wanted to stay 100 years in Iraq and was more pro war in the Middle East... because McCain was white and Obama was black.
