    I don't think it has zero to do with race—more that racism is a pillar of the socioeconomic structure but at the end of the day class trumps all. I honestly don't think most libs think about the white privilege thing beyond "saying this makes me progressive" which is almost worse lol. It's how we get these idiots on twitter trying to be so careful about race and seem so progressive that some of the things they say basically amounts to "segregation, but woke."

    But yeah I mean I literally had someone say to me "you're a white male what do you have to go to therapy about" and it's like um probably in part because of those kinds of assumptions that encourage men to be emotional brick walls and bottle up their feelings. whateva happened to gary cooper! the strong silent type!

    I pay around $1400 a week in taxes.

    Some years Donald Trump pays $750 for the year... some years he pays $0.

    He probably gets about a $1,000,000,000 more in federal services than I do.


    Do you know how absurd it sounds to me when really rich people cry about paying taxes, like its ruining their lives? Pretty f---ing absurd.


    But not as absurd as when people who are out of the ruling class have sympathy for their poor souls.
