Precisely how I feel right now. I’m less worried about Biden losing the election due to votes than I am Trump/GOP stealing this election through the courts & votes being tossed out.

At the start of 2008 Donald Trump was a liberal Democrat Hillary supporter.

Obama got the nomination and Trump stopped being a Democrat and became a Republican.

He spent the next few years becoming more and more unhinged attacking Obama and became a the face of the racist "Birther conspiracy."

Biden went to work for Obama.

Here is a picture of the Obama/Biden interns and the Trump/Pence interns.

    You notice anything?

LOL so no degree of facts or logic will dissuade you bc you know some good ole boys who want houston to stay in the dark ages. cmon man i am NOT giving u ::autistic screeching trump:: im making a point about houston's role in the ongoing energy transition.
ive been to houston, as u know. but look:

"Houston, which has roughly 2.3 million residents, ranked seventh among the top 50 U.S. metro areas for clean energy employment in the fourth quarter of 2019, with 1.9% of all clean energy jobs in the U.S. In 2019, Houston had 56,155 clean energy jobs, up nearly 4% from 2018, according to E2. By comparison, there are roughly 250,000 fossil fuel jobs in the area."

not an insignificant ratio. thats where the growth is!!!
    "
There are at least 100 solar energy-related companies and 30 wind energy-related companies — including developers, transporters, manufacturers, suppliers and others — located in Houston, according to the Greater Houston Partnership. They include big names such as BP Wind Energy North America Inc., Shell Global Solutions (US) Inc., GE Renewable Energy, Sunnova Energy International Inc. and First Solar Inc.

Backed with funding from Houston-based EnCap Investments LP, a venture capital firm that typically specializes in oil and gas investments, Broad Reach Power LLC is quickly becoming a big player in the booming battery storage market in Texas.

I am. I always do, even when people here are spouting absolute drivel, I respond to their words at face value. But at a certain point you can make the same argument so many times before the response becomes “stop thinking that lol, use your brain.” I don’t deny people can see an economic rationale for trump - but what res and I are getting at is that’s mostly bs. Forgive me but your evidence appears to be “xyz thinks this, generally” which isn’t the same of sharing irrefutable info about oil production or taxes, cold hardt facts. If you have a rejoinder great! Let’s hear it. But you sound dug in and certain and I don’t know you’ve fully established your argument on merits. (This is a forum so who cares, u don’t need to.... just articulating my frustration in general w the discourse here. I can be as thorough and reasonable as possible , usually the response is some taileating goofy Internet brain propaganda . Oh speaking of

The devils in the details ofc, the facts aren’t on your side. Ik this is a Gimmick/phase or the result of a bad trip or something but know one thing, with all the love in my heart: you are wrong and sound pretty stupid.

Less than 1/5 of the country voted for Trump.

3 million less people voted for Trump than Hillary.

The Electoral college favors the candidate that appeals to prejudices to rural Americans that hate Americans that live together and contribute more to society.

Trump is a low IQ racist loser born with $500,000,000 that he squandered being stupid and buying Beauty Pageants so he could meet woman and buying golf courses so he could play golf with rich elites who wouldn't be his friend because he is a cringey creepy conman.

Being a morally corrupt ignorant a------ isn't an invalid opinion... in fact their votes are worth more than a college professor's who lives in California.

entirely fair, but that’s on the dems for not proposing a more viable plan imo. “lesser of two evils” is not the best they can do,
take everything that follows with multiple grains of salt,

In my anecdotal experience, most of the solar growth has been from local roofing companies companies looking to make an extra $. Not that that’s bad in any way I just don’t see that phasing oil unless we’re tryna become serfing usa

and again purely from anecdotal evidence knowing someone who worked shortly at a wind farm, those things are staffed by like a dozen ppl per MAX, usually more like 3/4. In a single building that y’all you’d have at least 2 or 3x that in the plants. And the money doesn’t trickle down the way one could argue from a smaller workforce. In fact in my friends case the wind job paid less than the average entry level plant job

I have nothing bad to say about nuclear. Ppl much smarter than I have already debunked every major concern I hear

So, your bosses could lay you off tomorrow and say... "Uhhhh, its Obama's fault from 8 years ago."

And you'd be like.... "that logic checks out!" ?

Then you'd run and vote for Trump?
