    I'm gutted that Man Down is facing Blue Lips in the first round. I wasn't impressed with Blue Lips but I e seen it voted hip-hop album of the year in so many different places.

    I counted this morning and if I remember correctly, if everyone who suggested an album plus me voted, it would be 13 people. I’m not gonna expect everyone to vote fast asf or vote at all for some rounds though, life gets busy

    That’s totally understandable, I get what you’re saying. There was a point in time where it really could’ve gone either way for me. Side note: I’m so glad I finally listened to Imaginal Disk, that s--- was amazing and made me feel a bit emotional

    that DBR vs 2093 was really tough for me, but I mostly went with 2093 due to the fact that it feels more like Yeat taking a wild shot with a new sound and landing it perfectly. DBR was Trav still perfecting his sound, which he did the next year with Rodeo. 2093 has the ever so slight edge for me, I gave it a 8.5 compared to DBR'S 8.0. It really could go either way for me, wouldn't be mad at either one beating the other. Also, when I did my relisten to 2093 for this thread, the album felt less bloated than it did when it first came out and that surprised me.

    I believe we only differ on 2, 4, and 6. 2093 is good but honestly I think Days Before Rodeo might be a classic. I’m putting that on way before I put on 2093. I’m also putting on HARDSTONE PSYCHO before I put on LANA. Don Toliver is just a vibe for me on there, plus surprisingly I started to lose interest in LANA during the back half. It’s a decent deluxe but idk something felt missing and it kinda makes sense to me why it’s released as a deluxe instead of a separate album.
