    Haven't followed football in years but with England moving to the Quarter Finals I figured I should start watching the world cup. They normally s--- in every competition. I probably just cursed our whole country and we're going to lose now tho.

    srsly tho really seems England have a very solid shot of winning the whole thing? The competition doesn't seem too tough. Like it actually seems possible. I'd assume France or England are favourites to win the whole thing?

    Yeah but... brazil, argentina, spain, portugal, gernany were favorites as well. So honestly at this point don't think there is a major favorite tbh.

    These set-pieces to the far post to Maguire have been lethal, amazing no team has been able to stop it.

    How do you guys feel about Sterling up top with Kane? Adds dynamism but prefers running into space, most of England's final balls come from the touchline (crosses), rather see Alli as the supporting pseudo-striker

    Terrible at finishing but he does create lots of space when dropping deep. I do prefer rashford but he’s too similar to Kane. We need sterling to link up with the midfield. So I’m happy that’s he’s starting although he cant finish.

    Think he hasn't scored for you guys in years, like you said has good touches but I always see a lot of fans complain about his play. Either way, I see England in the finals

    d--- England completly dominated the game, kudos to them!
    However, f---ing beat out netherlands,Italy,won against France, won a group with the last champions and Mexico, beat out the 6th highest ranked team... and we had to lose to f---ing England... f---ing England

    Man its been one hellofa journey.

    Now my hope is to Croatia to win this shocking tournament

    I've been clubbing with a lot of English tonight lol

    That being said I am more than 50% english. My whole dad side is and my mum said has some of it. I've always seen them as rivals in sports besides football. Yet I still found it difficult to support them due to being stacked with rival Premier League players.

    I think I have finally given in :wow2:
