A mate of my mate went to Perth for a "holiday" recently. me and my mate were were giving him s--- saying, what the f--- is that, what do you do in Perth on holiday? do you just go to the hotel room and stay there?

Really feels like nowhere's that safe right now honestly, they probably could attack almost anywhere they want. I can't help but feel we're due for a big attack in the US in the next 3-6 months. Even if we avoid that I'm sure there'll be at least 1 or 2 situations where some idiot got dumped by his girl or has no friends (or whatever dumb excuse he uses) and kills 10 people for it.

Ugh, this world's so f----- up man and it's certainly not getting better.

Rip! im not sure how to feel about this its probably the first time a tragedy this bad happened and im able to comprehend it normally id hear about something like sandy hook or natural disasters and id just be like oh uh ok but im old enough to realize how sad this is now and im not gonna lie, my mom was right sometimes when something so bad happens it doesn't matter who you are you can feel for them and i really do.

that's the thing tho, if someone said "we know who the shooter is..but we're not telling you" the next magazine/news source would say "HAH WE GOT IT TOO AND WE'RE NOT HIDING IT" for hits/views. the whole business of internet content creation has rly checkmated itself when it comes to news and information. this stuff gets widespread coverage across the globe and kids who dont get enough attention will no doubt see this as a way to achieve that. especially with the way everything has been going lately with mass shootings and terrorist attacks. f---, even since the boston bombing. when rolling stone put dude as the cover that was a huge mistake. not even on a moral "thats repulsive, he's a monster" level, just on the basic "you're giving him glory which is what that fa---- wanted, you're now encouraging other kids who wanted attention to go out and get it by any means necessary because they know their photo will be the f---ing cover of the rolling stone magazine" level.

but the internet is a business in the 2010s and thats how business works, unfortunately. it's opportunistic and short term.
