    "Now first I want to say that I think that it's better than Be, the simper reason is that I prefer Dilla to Kanye and I just like the production a bit more. But hoestly if it was only that than they were almost tied for me.
    The deeper reason is that Be is very easy to digest, in the terms of the beats, the subject matter, and the lyrics. Like Water for Chocolate on the other hand feels a bit more, complex? Not sure. for example the production, after a few listens to Be it didn't surprise me anymore, I mean it's still AMAZING, but when I listen to LWFC I still find new things in the production, and the beats are still sound like I'm just hearing them for the first time. It's richer. Same with Common, the lyrics on Like Water are a lot more interesting to me, both in terms of subjcet matter and the lyricism.
    For these reasons, LWFC keeps growing on me when I listen to it, h--- even the songs I consider lows grew on me, (I used to really dislike A Film Called (p----) but the storytelling and the metaphors in it grew on me, as well the beat) and I want to come back to it more, while Be stays where it is, and while I listen to it a lot, LWFC definitely better to me."

    "Like Water for Chocolate is one of the most musical hip hop albums ever created. With a Common Sense still ready to expand his music and a production team of Jay Dee, ?uestlove, D'Angelo and James Poyser, they created together with one of the most unique and complete albums of all time. The sound of LWFC is just unbelievable, it's not the most banging hardcore s--- ever, its strengths are much more into the subtleties... there's just so much happening in these tracks, always some hidden layer in the back of the drum beats. These drums are mostly claps courtesy of Jay Dee, it's like they took the raw sound of Fantastic and expanded it with full of musical arrangements. There wasn't many hip hop albums up that point messing with musical arrangements, but Common and crew really took that s--- to another level, and it still remains one of the most original hip hop albums ever released even 11 years later."

    I actually recommend this album VR lol, see for yourself, it ain't all that but it ain't all bad either.

    And I know you don't really wanna hear this but idgaf I'm gonna spill anyway. What f----- me up was in the last dream I had about her, I attended a party of hers I received an invite to over a year ago (time was unspecified). Once I did go over a year later (Who tf gives out invites to parties a year in advance?!), she rejected me... The whole night she was giving me the cold shoulder while I spoke to just about everyone except her, and it was like I'd done something wrong...yeah that's how it felt. I had this one roughly at the start of this month. I woke up kinda bummed after that. Every other dream I'd had was all fluffy lovey romantic s---.
