Jul 27, 2015 Marshall Mathers actually died from an overdose in his bathroom in 2007. After two years of searching, Interscope finally found a replacement Eminem. With enough plastic surgery & newly dark hair, not many fans even noticed the difference. The voice, however, was never perfected.
Jul 27, 2015 I don't think it's really changed when he flows like normal f---ing Eminem. The Warning sounds identical. There are certain lines/flows he uses where he sounds the same. I.e. the following on All I think About Infrared in my pencil lead But always keep an extra one stocked though In the back pocket and both of 'em locked And they're loaded, like cocked twin Glocks that I’m holdin' You better pause when you see these two dots on your colon Especially the last two lines

Jul 27, 2015 Ik he got deeper on Encore. But I'm talking like when he completely lost his classic voice in 2008-2009 during Relapse. Why did he lose it to the point where it didn't sound like him at all anymore. And @Changeling funny story, but I want the truth.

Jul 27, 2015 I've noticed his voice changed too. His voice sounded really slurred in 2005 - 2007, but he had a somewhat normal voice in 2010 - 2011, but by 2013 his voice changed again.
Jul 27, 2015 I think when he started doing the Relapse accents things just kinda spun out of control. Messing with not only different types of flows but beats as well.
Jul 27, 2015 The drugged out deeper voice started to appear on the 8 Mile Soundtrack and even more on the Green Lantern tapes. He was slurring words by Encore and it peaked in 2007 when you couldn't even understand him (The Apple, GOAT, etc.)
