Jul 13, 2024 That’s great, I started theorizing when he said it was a concept album but hearing it just made it obvious!!
Jul 13, 2024 How do you know lmao, Eminem the only artist where nothing is ever deep. If someone like Kendrick make an album, people overanalyze that s--- like crazy as well just let people have fun with theories.
Jul 13, 2024 Well Em for the first time ever said it’s a concept album. Takes more then just ”i want to k--- slim” for it to be conceptually deep
Jul 13, 2024 It really doesn’t work played backwards. Just because it’s a concept album doesn’t mean it was meant for that.
Jul 14, 2024 The concept is simple AF....it's just him back in his shady persona, then he stops with it towards the end. Feel free to scribble some mad theories on the black board all you want though.
Jul 14, 2024 i disagree, there are more reasons for it not to work in regular order then not working backwards
Jul 14, 2024 Explain how he in GC2 says he wants to k--- slim and make truce with MGK, will Smith etc etc etc and then 2 tracks later throws jabs at MgK? And literally dont even mention on a single track afterwards how life is without slim? Wouldnt it be reasonable, if it is a concept album, that he is consistent in what he says AND at least adresses life without Slim?
Jul 14, 2024 As much as I want this to be true, I'm just not seeing it in a convincing, intentional kind of way.
Jul 14, 2024 agree, for this to be canon he would need to adress it or in the next video make it ambivalent enough to make it possible, a couple of clues or something.
Jul 14, 2024 He literally explains it in the song. Regardless of his ruthless shock value alter ego, rap beef is still and always will be apart of the genre. And even if it doesn't make sense conceptually, the concept stopped after GC2.
Jul 14, 2024 Albums with this gimmick are supposed to work both ways. If it was meant to be played in reverse order, and works better that way, then surely it would be a mistake to release it how it is?
Jul 14, 2024 The true purpose of TDOSS is to promote assassination attempts and other violence. Its a political album disguised as a “concept album”. I have forwarded this information to congress who will be looking into this further.
Jul 14, 2024 It does work both ways, because both ways have arguments for not working. but either you see it the ”good” ending as Slim is dead and we’re left with Marshall which is a bad ending. Or as the ”bad” ending as Slim took control and fused with Marshall, which is a good ending.
Jul 16, 2024 He is just not good at crafting albums and the second part sucks in this respect. That's it.
Jul 16, 2024 Playlist on youtube. But don’t, i have just listened again and i cant put my ears through the sh-- even backwards again.
