When you're older dropping out makes so much more sense. Like you dropout at 15 years old, get an apprenticeship and you're literally set for life. it's like a 2-3 yr head start on all your peers.

Most good apprenticeships require a High School diploma.

I was a massive little s--- at school, was wasting my time there. I'm glad I dropped out early and got a job. If I stayed in HS I would have probably gone straight to uni and done some major I would end up regretting. Having time off gave me time to mature and figure out what I want to do. I started uni when I was about 21 and did really well. Being slightly more mature than other students and the skills I got in the workforce gave me a big advantage imo.

Well where I'm from they don't give a s--- about highschool "diplomas" they just know the cheapest apprentice they can possibly hire is a 15 year old school dropout. They're also given government benefits for hiring younger apprentices.

Same little f---s would drop out of elementary if their mommy would let them :wellsht:
It's about the experience and building yourself into a person by dealing in a social environment. Why do you keep mentioning apprenticeships when you went straight to Taco Bell? The experience does more for your life than simply learning algebra bro. God forbid we get more awkward f---s running around that can't count change and give me a f---ing taco with lettuce when I asked for NO LETTUCE. People with that mindstate are the same ones that think they wasted two years of their life in a relationship just because it didn't work out and it's a shame
