Jul 10, 2015 These are arguably some of Drake's best songs, but which of the 3 is the best? 9AM In Dallas Drake dropped this song back in June 2010, right before we got his Young Money debut Thank Me Later. At the time, it wasn't crazy to say that this was his best rap performance to date. It was a young, hungry Drake eager to prove that he was worthy of all the hype he had received. 5AM In Toronto This track dropped back in March 2013 before Nothing Was The Same, and is a little different than 9AM In Dallas. Drake is no longer a rookie trying to earn his spot. Thank Me Later was a successful debut, and Take Care was widely regarded as a classic. He made it, and is letting everyone in the industry know who is running the game. 6PM In New York The closing track on If You're Reading This It's Too Late, finds Drizzy in a much more relaxed state of mind than 5AM In Toronto. This is Drake at the top of game, and in top form. If I were to put all the great quotable lines in here, I'd d--- near have the whole lyric sheet posted. But who can forget the subliminal Tyga diss "It's so childish callin' my name on a world stage, you need to act your age and not your girls age". As we know, Tyga's career has been 1 L after another after this song was released. This is tough. I honestly love all 3. I love the nostalgia I get when I listen to 9AM, the aggression and arrogance from 5AM, and the relaxed confidence he showed on 6PM. Spoiler It's not often that you get this type of aggression on a Drake track for 4+ minutes, and he made the most of it on here. What do you guys think? Which is your favorite?
Jul 11, 2015 5AM was cool for the shock value at the time but I find myself listening to 9AM in dallas more.. 6PM isn't even in the picture
