Nov 4, 2024 Booted is the correct word btw. Anyways for being too offensive to the tight clique of comedians here in lee county. I'll post the explanation tomorrow with pictures, right now, ima go eat... cuz obviously your boy likes to eat. I'm just gunna say real fast that if you're a dude that bangs dudes, a dude that dresses up like a woman, or a woman that is strong and independent should see their way out before I post it. Check ya later...
Nov 7, 2024 Nah it was because yout mother was in the crowd and I gotta give props where props are due I suppose, but it's more prominent in the comedy scene in lee county and what it says goes.
Nov 7, 2024 Eh... f--- all that noise. Waste of time and energy. Will edit this post with video of the set. I feel like defending yourself is a sign of weakness on the internet rather than flat out attacking, however I don't got time to go t-t for tat like half these fa----s. You'll see when I get interrupted that it was right after a ruthless tranny joke (when as I've said there was one in the crowd who's apparently prominent in the lee county comedy scene) and a joke about women being inferior, and the club owner is a proud, strong woman... you'd think I was still talking about that tranny, but I'm not.
Nov 7, 2024 You had some funny jokes, but the one about women didn't land. It’s not that they were too offensive but they lack humor and just come across as genuine disdaine for women.
Nov 7, 2024 I mean it’s just saying offensive stuff, but the punchlines aren’t well written. You should listen to Eminem to get your shock humor up.
Nov 8, 2024 Anthony Jeselnik has the best take on this. Being offensive and getting a lot of people mad at you then bragging about it is f---ing stupid. Being offensive and making everyone laugh is art.
Nov 8, 2024 damm man you murdered that set. i’m hella impressed. delivery is on point, every punch landed, stage presence and confidence improving. you’ve come a long way from covering fack and feigning fear of cartels. i’m looking forward to another 20 years of quality entertainment from you bro
Nov 8, 2024 What's weird is even I feel like my delivery and confidence is better in this video and its literally the first time doing a written set on stage... I was excited to do it and s--- and the next two times I've done it I haven't been in that same mindset that I was the first time... it's something I need to work on, maybe I just need to drink more because I was like 15 beers and a long island deep in that vid. After that vid you quoted I had another comedian come up to me and tell me that it was incredible and asked where I usually perform, then the security guard said i was the funniest dude to be in that building in a long a--- time and thanked me. The second time some other employee came up after the show and was like hey man I work here and I just had to say I don't know what the f--- they were thinking cutting you off, alot of your jokes were hilarious, I wouldn't change a thing, come back next month and do the same exact set and see what happens, then another comedian came up to me and said you're fucjin funny bro, if someone gets their panties in a bunch about your material, f--- em... don't cater to these p-----s, with material like that you should be on k--- tony
Nov 8, 2024 tbh my only advice is to continue refining your act and never cater to anyone. what you’re doing is super original and i’d love to see it really go places
Nov 10, 2024 not all of this was as offensive as I thought it was gonna be but there's too much low-hanging fruit/lowest common denominator stuff...a lot of it came across as hack to me, like I've heard open micers do similar versions of a lot of these jokes. stuff like "I would s--- d----s if they were made out of bacon" still, respect for putting yourself out there. the whole point of open mics is you're supposed to by trying your hand at jokes and seeing what works and what doesn't and that's what you're doing and what you should continue to do. you have a bombastic/larger than life personality that could work really well for standup. I agree that you should never sacrifice the core of what you want to do and lose your personality when doing something like this...but a lot of comics go up and bomb over and over and think the problem is the audiences are too offended or whatever when the problem is that they're telling bad jokes. "edgy" or "offensive" humor isn't inherently good or bad. but a lot of people focus on the edginess without refining the joke structure and bits themselves.
Nov 10, 2024 You need to be a bit more clever in your jokes. Also this material that has been beaten to death at this point. Since you're a fatass (like me) throw some more self deprecating jokes in there.
Nov 11, 2024 The hardest hitters are the r--- and pedophile jokes which kind of blows my mind, the hard r for b------s usually hits pretty well also, the fa---- joke also hits but not as hard... I want to keep the ones that truly hit and work others I have in to the sets so I can have hard hitters the whole rip
