Imagine thinking Tatum is a top 5 player lmao He has zero clutch gene. Way too hot and cold. He’s definitely good though. Jimmy Butler is consistent in the playoffs. The Joker can go off and drive anytime he wants to take the offense over. I don’t think either team would beat Denver. Maybe take one home game.

@TimmyT what do you think about the Heat tonight? I see the Celts are favorites which scares me because they aren’t typically great as the favorite. Tatum in elimination games is a different animal tho. This is the real game 7 in my opinion. If it goes back to Boston I don’t think Miami is pulling that one out.

I'm with you. obviously, the heat still has a chance if they lose tonight, but i don't think they'll win a game 7 in boston. winning game sevens on the road isn't impossible, but it's hard to do. to me the heat need to get it done tonight and i think they will.

if boston somehow comes back and wins this series, they'll make history. there's never been an NBA team that has won a series (in ANY round) when they were down 0 to 3.

Tonight is definitely game 7, could go either way. The Heat role players have played absolutely out of their minds and the Heat have shot with insane efficiency, something had to give.

It’s hard to give the same weight to seeding as there used to be with load management now. Teams don’t give a f--- about the regular season. The Lakers obviously weren’t a true 8 seed and Jimmy Butler missed 1/4 of the season. The Heat are not a true 8 seed. At full strength they are very clearly a better team than the Nets, Hawks, Knicks and probably Cavs.

That said, the Celtics are obviously a much more talented team than them so it makes all the sense in the world that they’d be the ones to comeback from 0-3. We’ll see.

Lmao. What a delusional question. Lost to an 8th seed, who got murked against Denver. Denver are going to be favorites for a few years, if they keep Murray and Jokich together. I think Denver should go in on Kyrie and be a lethal team.

They are literally the betting favorites to win it all on all major books, tied with Denver

It will change as the new season comes closer. I’ve noticed the last 3 years the top teams can move around before the season.

If Chris Paul can be mostly healthy in the regular season, he may help set up 3 point shooters better. I didn’t expect him to go to the warriors. The suns can still make a move and would put them above the Celtics. They did take 2 games from Denver. I don’t see a clutch gene with Tatum. That’s a big thing in the playoffs. I still don’t see anyone beating Denver in a series final.

Doubt he will be on the floor with starters much, almost never with Steph, that doesn’t fit at all. The Warriors run fast paced offense that relies heavily on PnR run by Steph, taking the ball out of his hands to put it in Chris Paul’s isn’t gonna happen. He will run the bench units when Steph and Co come off to keep them afloat better than Poole did but would imagine he’ll be super low minutes and a lot more inconsequential than most would think

Yeah I was wondering if he was going to actually start or not. I saw some analysts say instead of Draymond having the ball cp3 can carry it out but most think mostly bench time. I was also surprised Warriors got rid of Pole over Draymomd tbh. Draymond does fit well with chemistry.

Yeah, I can see how it might be a weird basketball decision, Poole is a really good scorer but he’s so one-dimensional and the Warriors really struggle offensively when Steph comes out. Having Paul be able to run a highly-functioning offense probably provides more in terms of setting up the younger bench guys and helping them develop than just having Poole iso and praying.

Gotta imagine the Poole vs Draymond personal feud was worse than we even imagine too, now. There are a lot of videos of Poole clearly not being in sync with the team… not going to the huddle with the rest of the team during timeouts, Warriors players being visibly annoyed with him. Steph probably has a lot of GM clout and of course the team is gonna choose Draymond

Not a Mazzulla fan. His rotations weren’t great, he has 0 emphasis on defense, and he seems to not have a great feel for momentum. By this time next year I fully expect Sam Cassel to be the head coach.

Typically I ignore you because I think you’re dumb and are pretty bad at what you do, but here’s 15 minutes for you:

Jayson Tatum is the only player in NBA history to s---t at least 50% on game tying or go-ahead shots with less than 24 seconds remaining in the fourth quarter; he is 13 of 26 on those shots. He is 15 of 29 when you include the playoffs.

Lmao delusional. This guy said Tatum was a top 3 player last year. Can’t even win in the weaker conference. They would have been swept by the suns or denver. Tatum shows potential though. He’s way too inconsistent for a 7 game series.
