Poppy tracks with annoying female hooks with a generic love topic needs to die. Puts a big dint on great albums imo, not even filler to me, just lazy. Just the feats in general are not memorable and take you away from the experience. I think Kendrick is at best when he constructing songs on his own and has his vision. Don’t see what any of the guests on this album added. But saying that, only issue I had with this album. Enjoyed the album for most part and will continue to do so, more as I listen to it more.

Sounds to me that disc 1 is way more rap oriented, while disc 2 is more orchestration/singing.

I'm sure the album will grow on everyone a lot. I'm just disappointed he only rapped on like 3 songs

in my honest opinion, there are definitely more songs I'm not feeling on this than TPAB, GKMC, or d---. I am pretty tired though, so I'll give it another listen with rested ears tomorrow. There's some good songs here, but nothing really stood out to me besides Father Time, Mirrors, and Mr. Morale. We Cry Together was cool too, but I won't really play it much. Oh, I like Silent Hill too. I don't really remember the rest. But again, I'll listen again tomorrow. I'm sure more will pop out.

I do think regardless of how much it grows on me, it will end up being at the bottom of his discography. For me, anyway. who knows. Way too early to know for sure.

shout out to SXN80, got to enjoy three Kenny rollouts with y'all.
