It would be great and it does raise some questions about the album such as why does Eminem decide if your verse gets used? And when Bizarre talked about the group having more confidence to say no to certain beats and what they did and didn't like then was Devils Night filled with songs that deep down they really weren't that keen on? It just seemed to work, it's a great album.

One thing that struck me with the Lose Yourself Demo in 2014 was how high quality it was, it sounds great. I think it was 2007 Eminem did an interview on the radio where he talked about how they had digitised all his master tapes, it might have been the same one where he said they went through the vaults and couldn't find the master tape for When h--- Freezes Over but they have everything on computers. They know what's there. Maybe they're saving everything for the 25th Anniversaries. I know a lot of songs weren't used back then because they couldn't clear the samples but 20 years has passed and is about to pass for some of these albums, maybe those artists wouldn't mind allowing those samples to be used now. They must have had these conversations and for whatever reason someone has said no to it. It would be easy money for them and I'm sure D12 wouldn't be against making some extra money. It's a shame no interviewer really brings this stuff up because ever since Relapse came out Eminem has been a bit more open about his recording sessions, he doesn't seem to name unreleased songs but he seems open enough to talk about how many songs he records for each album and I think he would be open to answering more questions like that and we can find out what he really thinks.

I don't know if it has anything to do with it but is the Bass Brothers being involved in this album a reason for nothing else being released and the same thing happened with The Slim Shady LP Expanded? We didn't get anything for The Marshall Mathers LP but once we get to Encore's 20th Anniversary and it's more just Eminem and Dre and Luis Resto is that when we could possibly see unreleased stuff get out? They didn't just produce on all these albums, don't they own this music also as Eminem's contract was with them before he signed with Dre? So they would have a say in everything he recorded. It could be they are the ones just saying no and that's why all the extra tracks we have so far are stuff that's been released already in some form or another. Then again Web Entertainment is on every album up until I think Revival so....they might have a say in everything up until 2017. If that is the case then we might get nothing for a long long time.

Then again Jeff Bass co-produced Lose Yourself so......he must have signed off on that in 2014 to allow it to be released. It's just a bit confusing.

No problem. He talked about how he still used physical tape to record his vocals. He talked about doing it with Smack That with Akon and back before he signed with Dre they would have to pay for physical tape and he would have to get his vocals right on the first few takes because they could only afford a certain amount of studio time so Denaun Porter would have the beat ready and he would have rehearsed his verses so he knew them perfectly and they could get it done quickly and he would have to carry the actual tape with his verses recorded on him because that was the only copy they would have and he did it ever since. I know his production is mostly digital now but it would be interesting to see if he ever did move over to recording his vocals digitally.

It's a shame they aren't more popular because you have so many pop artists where demos leak and they get traded and sold. Clearly there is people in all these labels with access to stuff and Selena Gomez is a big one and I think she is with Interscope. I can only imagine if Eminem and D12 were as popular now as they were 20 years ago, no doubt tons of this stuff would be leaking but it's pretty much all pop stars and female stars that get leaked and traded and sold today. I'm pretty sure plenty of stuff is out there it's just kept under wraps.

But yeah Web Entertainment is on The Marshall Mathers LP 2 so it makes you wonder if the Bass Brothers are the reason why we're not getting anything new and if they do have anything to do with it we might need to wait till Revival's 10th Anniversary to get something. Maybe that's why Eminem has been using older beats. Maybe that's why we never got Relapse 2. Maybe him using older beats with new rhymes recorded over them is his way of trying to get some older music out there but doing it in a clever way? I don't want to say too much because I could be wrong and the Bass Brothers might love the idea of releasing demos and unreleased tracks and alternate takes. I'm just trying to think of reasons why they can't do it now. None of us are getting any younger.

Eminem seems to have no interest looking back. At least while he's active. Shame, cause he seems like the type who would have a lot of fun putting together deluxe editions. Some-one tell him he can release it on tape and maybe he'll do it.

I think the interesting thing about the last few albums is the speculation that quite a few of the beats are years old and the songs themselves may indeed be years old, he may have been giving us older material without us even realising it and I do think many tracks on Recovery were from the MMLP 2 sessions To even give us what they have on these Expanded Editions the conversations must have taken place about what bonus material to release and there's no way unreleased material didn't get brought up so you have to assume they just don't want to release anything new.

Blow My Buzz was only released on vinyl so it's cool to have a copy of the instrumental in CD quality. The next album should be The Eminem Show so maybe they will release the instrumental for Till I Collapse as it too was a vinyl exclusive. Amazing promo for that album. Without Me/Say What You Say/Cleanin' Out My Closet/Sing For The Moment/Superman/Business/Till I Collapse all released as singles on vinyl. Pretty much half the album, I don't know they why they can't just release the entire albums instrumentals. If Devil's Night isn't getting a physical release then they aren't restricted to 80 minutes on a CD so they could release more tracks.

I think going the tape route would be a good idea, especially for some of the older albums like Marshall Mathers LP which had it's own snippet cassette tape and that was used to promote the album, same with the Slim Shady LP so it would tie in with that and having new music from that time on that format would be ideal. The Spice Girls are doing a special cassette release of Wannabe and it has the unreleased demo on there along with another unreleased song from that album which has never been heard because 25 years ago cassettes were very popular. It makes sense to do it on cassette.
