Jul 15, 2022 Is it just me or did some beats clash too much with the vocals? I need to hear this again over some headphones. Nas track was hard and I feel like Griselda could've fit on "Terrible 2's", because the beat was nasty. Can't remember the rest anymore, I gotta give this another spin.
Jul 16, 2022 So you're telling me DJ Premier will drop 10 EPs with all my favorite rappers to celebrate Hip-Hop 50th birthday? My polish pecker never been this hard.
Jul 16, 2022 Afraid not Ricky. Check out the post above, it's got each producer already named except the 10th one. Obviously I'm hoping for Dre but no chance!
Jul 16, 2022 I really like this EP run idea. 5 songs to hit hard with. Preemo had Nas and Slick Rick as huge collabs. Swizz I'm sure could easily get a DMX verse but we'll prob also see the Lox on a track. Maybe a Griselda feature as well. DJ Mustard after that. Obviously a YG track but maybe a Nipsey unreleased verse as well?
Jul 16, 2022 This EP run is one of the best things to happen to the culture in the recent years. The songs themselves hit hard, and the concept of bringing so many different artists together like this is brilliant. I hope the next EPs will have some huge names too.
Jul 16, 2022 I'd prefer him on the "Lyricism" album. We need more Em & Hit-Boy. The Midwest one will probably be mostly Chicago-based rappers like Common, GLC, Rhymefest, etc.
Jul 17, 2022 Will definitely check out the others but I'll admit that the first sounds the most interesting by far to me. Cool idea though. Will be interesting to see who else shows up for this. Don't really care if Em appears, but this is the type of thing he should do for leverage to get his signees on tracks. Could be good for the likes of Grip and Boogie.
Jul 18, 2022 Nah. 1, Shady Records is just a tax dodging, money laundering venture. 2, this EP run is about celebrating the history of hip-hop. They both have a place in the future but not on a project like this.
