Mar 30, 2024 I listened to Kendrick’s last album and just wasn’t feeling it anymore. Definitely prefer his older stuff, I appreciate his creativeness but I think he’s got into the rut that every project has to have some sort of deeper meaning instead of just making songs where you can fly off the handle.

Mar 30, 2024 He has too many songs on there that just aren't replayable to me. I'll need to go and relisten to it at some point but I remember it being very underwhelming back when it released. Its a solid album with extremely high highs though (count me out, die hard, father time, rich spirit). Like I said, if Eminem released an album of that standard I'd be shocked, but it's easily Kendrick's most forgettable.
