    Amazing ep yet again. Love the dark, gritty depressing nature of New Blood. Much better for taking away the campiness and keeping it a little grounded.

    Think this season is going to make Dexter pay for all the s--- he has done and everything will catch up with him. Sloppiness in his killings, Debra being this revengeful dark passenger out to get him and his past slowly coming back to haunt him. Fear for our favourite serial killer.

    Harrison is straight up annoying though.

    Episode 3 has been my favorite episode so far. Love this season

    Another good ep. Think we will get a fitting finale this time around and have a twist as big as the end of season 4 at some point.

    Between this, Succession, and Curb, I'm really enjoying having a sunday night tv ritual again. Definitely miss that in the streaming era.

    Julia Jones who plays the chief had a pic up a few weeks ago of her with Bautista and Laguerta but looks like it was taken down. Good episode though

    Really like the
    killer. Reminds me a lot of Trinity. This season gives me a mix of season 2 and 4 vibes

    Man I’m so happy with this season so far.
    I wasn’t really a fan of the idea of Harrison following in Dexter’s footsteps at first, but I think they’re handling it well. He’s gonna be on some Anakin Skywalker s--- trying to choose between Dexter’s path and Matt’s dad’s path.

    Was also cool to see them have Batista show up in a way that made sense—was wondering if they’d do some cameos but couldn’t think of a way that would feel natural.

    I have a feeling that Harrison having a dark passenger is a red herring. But to be honest I'm just enjoying this season. They've done such a great job bringing back the vibe of Dexter. It's not necessarily a perfect season but I've really enjoyed it.

    I also thought about that possibility—Dexter’s f----- up a lot this season and I think it could def be him projecting with regard to the whole stabbing thing cuz he def WANTS Harrison to be like him even if he can’t admit it. He had that whole inner monologue about how lonely it is and after 10 years removed from the game his instincts are sloppy.

    Couldn’t agree more overall though. With Dexter you always had to suspend your disbelief and buy into the hokeyness a bit even at its best, but they got the vibe down perfectly. And depicting how easily Dexter’s house of cards can tumble.
