    Game has always been really mediocre to me. But to be fair to him he made a lot of listenable music, seems to have a good ear for beats and is good at networking, so he's assembled more decent albums than I would have predicted. He also proved too much for 50 Cent to sink which in that era was impressive. Gotta be honest though, as soon as Bishop Lamont emerged I realized how little character Game has. Boring as f---.

    The West was dead. Nip and Rock never took off. Just like Q. Only Kendrick was doing good stuff, and I discovered him thanks to Game (just like Nip). Game put Kendrick on YKWII Vol 4.

    Kendrick is a better rapper, but I don't like his music after GKMC. Just can't get into his weird voices and all that. s80 and GKMC are awesome tho.

    Q and Jay Rock both debuted around the same time as Kendrick and you’re still ignoring Bay Area rap completely which was thriving in the 2000s

    this alone gives credence. 300 bars was a dagger.
    his albums fell off harddd though. glimmers of gold, but i'd label him as an okay rapper that had early shine, deflated quickly, and sporadically puts out something worth listening to these days.
